Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to create a positive impact on buyers before they walk into your home. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers form their first opinion of your home and how you perform home's regular maintenance. Knowing this assists us in deciding what we can do to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your house's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Does your home seem to say, "This is Your Next House" to a buyer? Touring your home with a buyer's eye, we'll suggest changes that improve market appeal. We'll help you eliminate anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be cleared off. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get moved out of sight. We can help you de-clutter your house. Unattractive or busy spaces make your home feel less spacious and buyers have a harder time imagining themselves living there.
Every area gets a once-over. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively influence the sale.
With us by your side, you'll know that your home is likable and that it's welcoming, staying away from "offensive" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if the house is empty, you can try renting furniture. You want your home to look homey as opposed to uninhabited.

Setting the Stage In every opportunity, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. Dark rooms can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like draw back curtains and change light bulbs where needed to show off your home. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a pleasant fragrance circulates from every room. We'll include cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your couch and bed. Buyers should feel like your current home is their future home. |
